Toki Pona Wikipedia – Learn through Wikipesija articles (with audio)

Over here at Language Hobo, we know how important it is for learners to work on listening comprehension in Toki Pona. And we also know that such content is in short supply.

That’s why we’ve created this video series, where we read interesting articles from the Toki Pona Wikipedia, known as Wikipesija, giving you a chance to absorb the language as it’s spoken.

You probably won’t find this type of content anywhere else (believe us, we’ve looked!).

Each video has Toki Pona audio and subtitles, plus we’ve even included English subtitles (which YouTube automatically translates into over 100 languages). This way, you get to follow along and build your vocabulary, understand sentence flow, and get comfortable with natural phrasing. Pretty epic, huh?

We truly believe that this is one of the best ways to pick up the language naturally, as most of the articles touch on things you are already familiar with in your native language. It’s a little bit (or a lot, perhaps) like comprehensible input.

Below you’ll find our current selection of videos. We’ll regularly be updating this list, so do bookmark the page or subscribe to Language Hobo on YouTube to know when we release something new.

All right, that’s enough from us. Enjoy!
