Telugu is a Dravidian language with over 70 million speakers. It is one of India’s 22 official languages, and is most commonly found in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is closely related to Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The Telugu script derives from the Brahmi script.
