Days, Months, and Seasons in Swedish
If you’re new to Swedish, some of the first bits of vocabulary you’ll want to learn is that pertaining to the passage of time. This includes days of the week, months of the year, seasons, and a handful of other time related words.

These, I’ve found, are some of the easiest words to learn and remember, especially if you’re a native English speaker or you speak another Germanic language. Because as you’ll see in a moment, these words resemble those you’re already used it (as is the case with many a Swedish word, I might add).
Aside from that, they’re pretty essential and will show up often in your studies, which usually makes them more likely to stick around in the ol’ noggin.
We’ve split everything up into manageable topics for you (you’re most welcome), and we’ve even included handy audio clips for you to hear how everything is pronounced.
Have fun!
