If you live in Washington, DC, you’ll probably have noticed that there’s a relatively large Ethiopian community of Amharic speakers. This is why, though Amharic isn’t one of the most commonly taught languages, you can still find a few Amharic classes in DC.
There aren’t many, however; thus, the following list of Amharic classes/courses in DC is a short one. That’s why we’ve also included a couple of interactive programs from Udemy and Cudoo.
Some of you might be interested in the Amharic course offered by Howard University. We didn’t include it on our list as it seems to be an undergraduate course, not a class open to the general public.
